The 2020 Vinnies CEO Sleepout saw business and community leaders across Australia unite in a unique national, interactive and live- streamed event to raise essential funds for Vinnies’ homelessness services.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Vinnies CEO Sleepout took place in backyards, cars and on couches. Funds raised from the event are used in range of ways which include emergency accommodation, domestic violence refuges, food, clothing, blankets and sleeping bags, as well as counselling, healthcare and individualised support to address barriers such as debt and unemployment. Vinnies’ ultimate goal is to provide a way out of poverty and into a permanent and safe home.
In a true display of our values, Clarity’s Founder and Managing Director, Vincent Quattropani, achieved a sensational result raising $10,545. The achievement saw Vincent recognised by the event organiser as a leading fundraiser for 2020.
Vincent’s efforts, along with the other 300 participants, raised $1.06 million (which far exceeded the original $550,000 target), and demonstrated the importance of relationships between businesses and the community.
Clarity is looking forward to supporting the 2021 event and is appreciative of all those who chose to support our commitment.
